Happy Holidays

I'm still alive! As the year winds down with alarming speed, I'm forcing myself to slow down for a hot minute to just take everything in. This year has been filled with its share of deliriously high ups, as well as equally heartbreaking downs. Through it all, I'm grateful for my health, my family and my friends.

Right now, I'm beyond excited to spend Christmas in Sweden (the perfect storybook backdrop for this time of year!) and get some R&R after a whirlwind few months. Wishing you and yours only the best this holiday season and for 2012 - thank you so much for your readership.

See you in the new year, xo!

My Favorite Fleur de Sel: Le Saunier De Camargue

I'm alive! Lots of things keeping me busy these days, and it seems harder and harder to stop and enjoy the simplest of life's treats - like warm buttered bread topped with beautiful, crunchy salt.

Maldon may be the darling sea salt in the world these days, with just about everyone singing its praise, but I really wanted to share another quality salt that I adore: Le Saunier de Camargue. I picked it up on our last trip to Paris from the neighborhood Monoprix (seriously, nothin' fancy) and of course I return to find it at the more upmarket food boutiques here in New York. Well, well. At any rate, this fleur de sel delivers on all fronts - nice crunch, pure flavor and it's just plain cute to have around in your kitchen. ;) Generously sprinkle on your own buttered slices, grilled items, or really anywhere your food needs a little oomph.
